Head of Community
With a strong background in Startups and Entrepreneurialism, Gerarda joins the Upstairs team with an insatiable curiosity into all things and a mind that is never quiet.

Gerarda has a creative spirit and loves passionate people, adventure and new ideas or concepts.

In her experience, Gerarda has also developed a mobile app called JetLagFree, released August 2015 and a new business concept, Follow Travels, that was intended for testing in the market, launched in October 2016 and closed October 2018. A harsh, yet incredibly valuable experience that gives Gerarda great value to the Upstairs space and in helping others navigate the delicate and fine line that is Startup business.
David ten Broeke | Community Support

David ten Broeke

Community Support
David has been involved, along with James, in the formation of Upstairs since its early days.

Working alongside the founding partners to bring the project to life, David and James also manage and run their own business, Brijid Media Agency, as well as Gunthers Lane experiential technology hub. His background in Videography and Digital Marketing helps capture the hearts and minds across NSW, delivering professional, high-end campaigns.

Day-to-day, David helps introduce individuals, manage and coordinate events, business administration and ensures smooth running of those stairs!
James Lloyd | Community Support

James Lloyd

Community Support
James has been involved, along with David, in the formation of Upstairs since its early days.

Working alongside the founding partners to bring the project to life, James and David run also manage and run their own business, Brijid Media Agency, as well as Gunthers Lane experiential technology hub. His background in digital marketing helps deliver client websites, strategies and campaigns across a variety of clients that help grow businesses.

Day-to-day, James helps introduce individuals, manage and coordinate events, business administration and ensures smooth running of those stairs!
Abbey Bell | Community Support Coordinator

Community Support Coordinator
With a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Human Resource Management, Abbey is an energetic, friendly and confident addition to the team who loves conversing with all types of people.

She is an expert in social media management, content creation, and promotional marketing with a great eye for detail.

Abbey is an office all-rounder, from marketing and event coordination to daily management of the current members and administration of Upstairs, there is not much she cannot do!
